Chicago, IL, September 15, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Country music singer-songwriter Allie Sealey will perform at the National Headache Foundation (NHF) Gala on October 2 at the Langham Hotel in Chicago with her award-winning song , “Not all in our heads.”
Born in California, Sealey won the Migraine Advocacy Award from the Migraine Trust for her song that resonates with those who suffer from migraines and headaches.
From a 2018 story in the East Bay Hours: âI like to share the most intimate feelings, thoughts and emotions. It’s a timeless expression that shows others that we are not alone, âshe said. âNo matter what feeling or experience we’re going through, there’s a song for it and when we listen it’s like talking to an old friend. It never fails.
Single but married to his music, Sealey says his songs are his babies. She sees music as her gift to inspire those around her.
âFamous or not, I will always be one of many. I think music is my way of inspiring and helping people along the way, âSealey said. âThe beauty of what I do is the continuum of the ability to make connections and interpersonal relationships. “
âI heard songs on the radio when I was young and I felt like I had a friend in the artist who sang them,â she added. “I hope to pay in advance, that’s all.”
Tom Dabertin, Executive Director / CEO of NHF, said he looks forward to Sealey’s âhealing and meaningful songsâ and thanks Biohaven Pharmaceuticals for sponsoring his appearance.
