RÜFÜS DU SOL Unveils Details Of “Surrender Remixes”
RÜFÜS DU SOL offers new dynamism by turning to other artists for their version of the songs from the trio’s astonishing album Abandonment.
Last year, SOIL RÜFÜS continued on their way to dominating the hearts and minds of dance music lovers around the world with the release of their acclaimed album Abandonment. Now, after embarking on a tour that has seen them take the stage to showcase their artistry and launch their own festival to bring even more immersion to fans, they are looking for talented performing artists to give their turn to the tracks from the album.
Abandonment Remix must go out August 12 Going through Rose Avenue/Warner Records and is set to feature 14 new cuts to tracks from the beloved album. This includes artists such as Solomon, anyma, Cassian, Carlita, Dom Dolla, Culture of the vintageand more, all of which put their spin on tracks like “Living,” “Next to me,” and “Still“, among others.
We’re thrilled to have curated this collection of dancefloor-ready tracks from artists we love and respect from around the world on our Rose Ave imprint. The first drop is from our Adriatic friends who reworked On My Knees which was such a big piece for us from our album, with Anyma from Tale of Us who remixed Alive which won us our first Grammy. Hearing these incredible artists breathe new life into our music in their own unique way has been so inspiring and we’ve tested and dropped many of them into our club sets on tour this summer, they’re gone. We can’t wait for everyone to hear the full fourteen tracks.
