As Haiti continues to recover from last month’s magnitude 7.2, several artists and influencers have stepped up to try to raise awareness and help the country. Lil Baby and Jackboy appear to be the latest names in bold to join the cause.

In a recent Instagram story, Jackboy described the scenes he saw during his visit to Haiti after the earthquake, claiming that there were several patients in a hospital who were forced to sleep outside due to the lack of space. This is what prompted him to want to help and build a new hospital for the region, as well as to donate $ 100,000.

“I just walked through a hospital in Haiti and all the patients who sleep outside,” Jackboy wrote. “Personally, I gave each of them an envelope full of money but en en I have the impression that it is not enough … Who wants to go halfway with me and build a hospital , it’s not really a lot, especially if we’re using dollars. ”

Lil Baby answered that call to action, DMing Jackboy on building “something special” for the people of Haiti.

The news comes after Future announced he would be hosting a benefit concert to raise money for the relief effort. “I would like all of my friends, family, the music industry, fashion and all other industries, and the people as a whole, to stand up for Haiti,” he wrote in the post making the announcement. “I want to use my voice to do all I can to support Haiti in these tragic times and I will be doing a benefit concert on September 3rd.rd In Miami. Press to support. – Pluto.
