Australian duo The Avalanches have announced their North American tour dates for next year. Even if the duo just celebrated the 20th anniversary of their album Since I left you The band’s first US tour was in 2017. It’s worth mentioning that after releasing their debut album 20 years ago, the band didn’t release anything for 16 years. Their second album Wild flower was released in 2016, and their last album We will always love you abandoned last year.
In May of this year, the group shared their new song “We Go On”. The song starred Mike Jones of The Clash and Cola Boyy. Mxdwn’s author, Tristan Kinnett, describes the song, it “balances the catchy vocal melody of Cola Boyy and Mick Jones with an infectious bass groove, space synths, and four floor drums.” The track is part of their third album, We will always love you.
The group has already toured a bit in their home country, Australia. Stops during their North American tour will include major cities in the United States and Canada.
