Clide celebrates an unconventional Valentine’s Day with emo-pop track ‘Hotel Room’

On the heels of his vulnerable year-end hit “Kitchen Floor,” pop artist Clide greets fans ahead of Valentine’s Day with a catchy track titled “Hotel Room.” Guitar driven with a punky edge, this track ushers in a new chapter for the new year as Clide’s sound continues to evolve. Inspired by the feelings you have for someone who’s ever hurt you, “Hotel Room” expresses the complexities of love that aren’t often talked about at this time of year. In “hotel room”, clide ends up falling in love with his ex again even though he knows it will never work out. A message related to many, “hotel room” expresses how little control we have over our feelings and that it’s what we do with those feelings that determines our future.

“I’m cool, I’m cool to be friends, but I’m still in your, in your bed / I’m scared, too scared to make a move, ’cause I can’t fall in love with you again”~”bedroom hotel”
