Camila Cabello’s struggle with mental health
At least once in our life we go through difficult times. For three times nominated for the Grammy, Camila Cabello that moment came while writing one of the songs from his first movie, Cinderella.
The 24-year-old singer, songwriter and actress recently revealed that she is going through a “really tough time.”
“I don’t think I know how to write in a way that isn’t personal to me,” she said. Kid cudi, Anderson .Paak and the Sparks Brothers during a conversation for The Hollywood Journalist ‘s Roundtable of songwriters. “When I was working on ‘Million to One’ for Cinderella, to be completely honest, I was going through a very difficult time with my sanity.”
According to Cabello, the song helped move forward. “It was just a time of a lot of anxiety and sadness for me, and that song made me feel like, ‘I can get over this. I know I can improve my life. I feel like I have channeled my personal journey into that of the character. The character was super confident – everyone was telling her, no, but she knew it, ”Cabello added.
During an Apple Fitness + Time to Walk program, she also revealed that she “would collapse crying at least once a day.”
“Before the pandemic, I felt really exhausted. I had been working non-stop since I was 15. And the rigor with which I started to work, there was just no free time, ”she said, as the publication reports. “I was barely home. I didn’t have time to learn who I was outside of my career. Stack that on mental health issues, anxiety, with these toxic stress levels; it wasn’t even a collapse because I was just going to work on it.
“I was exhausted in every way and at that point it felt like I was running a marathon with a broken leg. I continued, but it was extremely hard. And I wish I was like, “Let me stop for a second and take a good cast for my broken leg and go to physical therapy.” ” But I did not do it. COVID stepped in and did it for me, ”added Cabello.
