Thorsrud was a household name in the music industry, serving as a music producer, programmer, and sound engineer throughout his decades-long career. After working for the Taj-Motown Record Company, Thorsrud created his own label, Tri Records. He was perhaps best known for his work with Smashing Pumpkins, having designed, mixed or contributed to the production or programming of each of the band’s albums since Adore in 1998.
